I sadly announce the unexpected departure of Barney for all of you who post here, those who view the photos, who read about our departed friends and my new friends Jean and Chris. Barney is the big enourmously tall shepherd in the short coat (the long haired one is Fritz) that you see in all our Shepherd Picture postings. It looks like torsion was the culprit. He was very sick this morning, I took him to the vets and we got there and he took the opportunity to leave in the car, in his own space. I will sorely miss him and all his antics. Pleas enjoy the wonderful pics of him we were able to post under German Shepherd Dogs here at the forum. Perhpas I'll add a few more in his memory. Animal lover with a sad heart, Pangaya.

Pangaya I'm so sorry to hear you lost you dog. He was a handsome boy. We've made him our pic of the day for this Tuesday, the 20th so everybody can see him again. My sympathy goes to you :(

I am sorry to hear that you lost your dog. I know that German Shepherds are very loyal dogs.
