Such a misunderstood breed. I had a pit that was the sweetest and best dog ever! I still miss him!

I had a pitbull before, his name was Homer. I've always been shaky around the breed because, lets face it, people, their ancestors were bred to fight, but I'm not saying that they go out intentionally looking for a fight, but even a Chihuahua or a petite lap dog can go out and kill something- my Shih-Tzu does, and everyone says they're bred to be lapdogs- it all goes back to instincts. I loved Homie, and never had a problem with him. It just goes that breed that were bred to fight or hunt do just that if they have the right situation, the right switches that flip the insticts on or off. A good owner and training early can make a huge difference... I don't want to make any enemies, I'm just saying... don't get mad at me.
