Can bloodhounds lift their ears at all?

No not really, you can tell when something has his attention, his eyebrows raise a little but other than that he is droopy all over :)

Elvis drools ALOT!!! When he smells something good he drools, when he gets mad he drools, when he drinks or eats he really drools and ears are wet with whatever he was eating or drinking :) He is a good dog but a really big mess especially if you want one for inside, Elvis is in and out but if it were up to me, he would be out all the time, because I have to clean his mess

I found a stray bloodhound last year,, he was 95lbs, missing a front leg ,, a face only a bloodhound lover could love.....few warts here n there and old scars from what looked like shotgun injuries. He loved me ,, and the kids, but seems wary of men. Then he started getting growly with kids, bit my niece one day with no provication,, and as i loaded him into the truck he took after me,,, I was so in love with that dog,, i dont know if he was in pain or what caused his change in behavior,, i found out nothing of his past or how old he was,,, i tend to think he was going blind,, deaf,, and just getting old and onry...but for a while was the best dog,, he made me laugh everyday,,,he loved going for rides,,, his lips and ears flying out in the wind,, making others point and laugh. He cuddled so great.....I miss him,,, Bloods have a big place in my heart.
