Does anyone think selling puppies online is wrong, because I came across a couple of people who think it is wrong. I personally do not think it is wrong because I bought my first puppy online. It was hard to find the breed I wanted in my area. And I was not in the mood to shop around on foot. I am from the city and finding a pet is not as easy as you may think. I did not want to buy a puppy from a pet store because a lot of the time those puppies come from puppy mills. I think finding pets online is better because they usually come from special breeders who take pride in there work.

I personally don't agree, most are doing just business of out poor animals. They breed without any proper paper and required shot resulting to a lot of health defect on animals.

I happen to have a first hand knowledge of this since I do own an online Puppy website. I just started it up and the biggest thing people feel afraid of when they do purchase online is that they are getting a sick puppy or defective in some way. Now you alwasy have to be careful about what puppy or dog you choose and I wouldn't recommend buying anything site unseen and have it shipped unless there was a guarantee of refund in writting. Most sites, like mine at sellmypuppy ONLY advertise for a customer, AND there are processes that take place in order to ward puppymills and bad breeders away from there. Screening customers is critical.
Never buy a puppy or dog and have them shipped. Always call or email the individual selling them and meet them in person in order to know what you are getting. I wouldn't ever buy a dog without seeing him or her first. If the seller doesn't certify them as healthy with records, that's a red flag. And never switch money without the dog first and possibly without a check up from the vet. I'd be weary of buying over 200 miles from where I live too.
Although I'm new in this market, That's one thing I want people to feel comfortable about is getting a new best friend from one of my customers.
Key point: Research

I think that there is a balance to everything ..
I like the balanced perspective presented in this article about breeding..

Your dog is but a reflection of your standards...
Do not make the mistake of treating your dog too much like humans or they will treat you like dogs.

Hard to say what people's motivations are. I used to want to raise Black Angus cattle when I was a little girl. Then sell the meat. I did not factor in the would have to kill or slaughter them first. Not a plan for me now at all! lol but for some people that is and it is their business. I just worry about the Karma factor
