i have recently gotten a shiba inu. his name is max and he's 5 mos. old. i'm trying to find other owners that might be able to offer some words of wisdom.

Socialize young- they are very intelligent. They may have a strong prey drive, so that could be problomatic when off leash.
Hope this helps! I've only had one Shiba, but it was a very good time of my life.
