We've adopted a yorkie and we absolutely love her to death. I was wondering, would it be too much for her to get another puppy. (Roxxi is 8). I've heard that it is hard on older dogs to bring a young puppy in the mix. She does well with our 5 yr old husky, but I'm not sure how she would do with a pup. She's fairly laid back. Any advice would be helpful! THanks!

Edit: I am looking to get another yorkie.

Congrats on adopting a dog!

Somtimes it can be tough to introduce new dogs into your house when you already have pets. It could be due to age, personality, gender, etc.

But in my opinion, all of these things can be addressed over time. Once  all of your pets (old and new) realize they are all part of your pack (and you are the leader) they will fall in line.

They may not become best friends, but I'm sure they will learn to live with each other
