A new column has been published in the Pupforum Ask a Trainer section:

My Dog Won't Stop Chewing!
My husband and I have recently moved to a new home and our 1 yr old shiba Inu has decided to chew on every piece of wood he can find in the house. Is there some product I could use to put on wood that would make my dog not want to chew on it because it tastes bad?...

Post your comments on the column here.

We have the same problem with our English Bulldog... We've tried the 'bitter apple' stuff, and we've tried vinegar... none of that seems to be working - our door panels are RUINED! I would love to know the answer to this also!! -Cassie

I'm new to the group, but would also love an answer to this one.  I have a 5 1/2 month old...24 lb basset/beagle mix.    He gets into everything.....it all goes in the mouth.  He is doing better with housebreaking...and staying in his crate thru the day while we are at work.  My problem is...he will does not sleep well at night.  He will wake up at 2 am and 4 am needing to go out...then will toss and turn all night.  I have no clue what to do.   Also....he bites at his leash constantly when I take him out.  I've used bitter apple..but to no avail.  Any advice on this one?
