Love the critters! Check out all my fun wiener photos in the pics on this site. I do Dachshund Rescue NW as well as the Dachshund Club of Spokane.

grandma had one of those when i was a kid...
there are pics of her somewhere on the site...
congrats on rescuing so many dogs!

My greyhound has been afraid of small dogs, but recently befriended my neighbors two dachsunds! We moved and he is overcoming his fear! I just love those little guys!

I have fun with all the Dachshunds and placed five wieners this last holiday weekend alone.
We placed 35 last year and already have placed 31 wieners as of 9/4/04. It is the best hobby I have ever had and it is a lot of fun.
I have five rescued Dachshund of my own with photos posted on this site and on my web rescue/club site at: http://www.nonprofitnw.org/drnw
And I run all the wiener dog races in Spokane, WA, for fun and other fun events as part of the Dachshund Club of Spokane I started. I don't have a life so my dogs and horses are it! Hahahaha. Oh, I like my husband a bit too. He lets me play with all the critters. he ffeds me and I make sure the critters feed themselves. I couldn't have a better "job."

We had two wirehair doxies while I was growing up. The first was a mini male. The second was a standard female, retired from showing/breeding because she had problems giving birth and the breeder did not want to risk her life with another litter. They are great little dogs! :) Wirehairs all the way!

Minnie & Murphy have found a home finally. They stayed five months until I could find them a home together. But we always have doggies needing homes: www.drnw.petfinder.org
This is the best hobby I have ever had. I meet the nicest people and have so much fun with the dogs!
